David has a strong leadership background in P&L management, sales & marketing, and operations – including domestic & international experience in industrial, commercial, healthcare, education, government, and institutional facility service markets. He has a proven history of creating service offerings, driving double digit revenue growth, improving bottom line by acquiring/integrating bolt-on companies, and implementing innovative process improvements across the businesses he has managed. He is an inspirational, purposeful leader who combines business and technical expertise to lead his teams to exceed their goals consistently.

During his successful 30-year tenure at Johnson Controls in Atlanta and Milwaukee, David held six leadership positions with progressive increased responsibilities. As Area Service Manager in Atlanta, he was able to achieve multi-year double digit revenue and profit growth by building a strong leadership team and implementing a successful change management program. As North America Director of Service Sales & Marketing in Milwaukee, he was able to increase sales productivity by 40 % and achieve a 20 % sales growth plan. Following the North America branch business reorganization, he was selected to lead one of the first two new P&Ls as Area General Manager and received the “Best in Service Award “following the acquisition and successful integration of a large service company in Wisconsin.

As the Global Leader of a Service IT transformation project, he was able to lead a team to complete the high-level design ahead of schedule and below budget by 10 %. As Director, Service Operations-North America, he led the creation of new service offerings including a digital connected equipment cloud-based service, knowledge platform and site-based operations and maintenance business that resulted in multi-year double digit revenue growth. He has also led initiatives for workforce planning, recruiting, field technical sales and accountability to drive customer focus and satisfaction.

Previously, he served as President-Service Division of Servidyne Inc based in Atlanta. As President, he co-wrote the business plan that was instrumental in selling the national HVAC/Chiller service business to Johnson Controls. As Vice-President-Western Region for Servidyne, based in Los Angeles, he was able to achieve 30 % service growth for ten consecutive years by building the sales/operations teams and opening four new offices in the thirteen western states.

David received his BSBA in Finance from Auburn University and completed Executive Education courses in Finance, Mergers, Acquisitions, Analysis, Planning & Control at the University of Michigan, and Northwestern University. He has served as committee chair and member of the Milwaukee Rotary Club, Board Member and President of Milwaukee Area Technical College Foundation, member of the President’s Advisory Council at Froedtert Hospital and Medical Center in Milwaukee and a volunteer member of the Disaster Action Team for the American Red Cross.
