Aaron Salow, Founder and CEO of XOi, launched his Nashville-based business to help field service companies overcome a formidable challenge facing their industry: a glaring shortage of skilled workers. Blue collar work has marked Aaron’s entire personal and professional life, instilling in him a passion for the hard-working people in the field service industry and the importance of them in our everyday lives. It was this passion that led him to build a modern, AI-based technology solution that transforms the way these companies do business and service their customers.
Growing up on his family’s farm and within their manufacturing business, Aaron was no stranger to the hard work required in blue-collar industries. Something that struck him in particular, though, was the fact that many of the brilliant people he worked with were nearing retirement age and either still destroying their bodies with field work — or being forced to retire early because they couldn’t keep up with the physical demand.
It was these experiences that begged the question that drives XOi to this day: How can we use technology to disrupt industry trends, solve real problems for field service companies, and serve the technician with a digital tool that will actually help them improve their skills?
Now, in the midst of transformational change in the world of technology, XOi’s mission to serve the technician remains steadfast.
