Andy Wight

Andy Wight has been involved in field service for over 20 years. After obtaining his BSc in Physics and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Liverpool, UK, he went on for post-doctoral work at UNC, Chapel Hill. He began his career as a service engineer supporting atomic imaging devices in 1999 before joining SCIEX, a Danaher life science company in 2002. At SCIEX, he focused on product serviceability during the product development process. He has continued his career at SCIEX, holding positions of increasing responsibility including management of Internal Support Teams, Technical Training Group and Service Business Development. He currently holds the title Service Product Portfolio Director. In this role, he is responsible for management of the service business strategy and leads a team responsible for identifying, developing and managing service products and solutions.
