Darin Parsons

Darin Parsons has been with Sensormatic for 20 years and is currently the Global Leader for Device Management for Sensormatic Solutions. This position has the responsibility of creating a Cloud Based Unified Device Management platform to support multiple portfolios to streamline remote support and management of all Sensormatic and 3rd party devices.

Darin joined Sensormatic in 2002 as a Retail Field Technician and was one of the original RFID team members at Sensormatic in 2004. During that period, he worked with Walmart to create and implement the first remote diagnostic center for remotely monitoring RFID devices to ensure quality data delivery. Darin has held many positions thru the years at Sensormatic, mostly in the RFID area, and is still considered the Subject Matter Expert for the on premise TrueVUE software solution. During this time Darin designed a Device Management platform to assist in the Deployment (Day 1) and ongoing Management (Day 2) support for Sensormatic’s platform system. This tool was originally designed as an ‘Engineering Tool’ but has grown into widespread use as the ‘On Prem’ DM solution for Sensomatic RFID systems.

After being recruited by the Navy Nuclear Power program as a junior in High School, Darin spent over 10 years in the Navy as a Nuclear Electronics Technician/Reactor Operator and finished his career as the head of the Reactor Controls training program at a training facility in Ballston Spa, NY. Darin has been married for 20 years, has 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren, and currently resides in Tennessee.
