Field Service Palm Springs 2024

JW Marriott Desert Springs, Palm Springs, CA

Michael Siebert

Manager, Area Service Fresenius-Kabi

I graduated from Marquette University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering. I started my career in Field Service in 2011 servicing Flow Cytometry instrumentation in Southern California. In 2013 I moved back to my home state of Wisconsin and began the next chapter of my career with my current organization, Fresenius-Kabi. Throughout my career at FK, I advanced from Field Service Engineer to Specialist, working on blood apheresis and autotransfusion devices. In 2022 I assumed the role of Area Service Manager for the Central Region of the U.S. The Central team currently consists of 12 individuals covering an area from the Dakotas, to Oklahoma to Tennessee and everything in between.

My wife, Shannon, and I have been married for 9 years and have been fostering children for 7 years. Aside from the sibling group of three foster kiddos currently in our home, we have a 5 year old son, Henry. Our children as well as the many animals we care for at our home keep us very busy. Our animals include 3 dogs, 11 cats, 2 goats, 20 ducks, 5 guinea fowl and a lone rooster named Jerry.

A career in Field Service has offered me the freedom to manage my time how I see fit to balance the many responsibilities within my personal and professional life. Although challenging at times, Field Service has been very rewarding thus far.
