Jim Hare has over 40 years’ experience in the high-tech industry. He started his career as a data center manager for a division of Xerox, moved into sales and sales management. Holding senior executive positions at Concord, Orchestream, SilverBack (acquired by Dell) and FieldOne, acquired by Microsoft in July of 2015. Jim and his team built the Microsoft Field Service Management (FSM) business from zero to one of the largest FSM brands in the industry. Jim has also won numerous industry awards, including Channel Chief by CRN, Top 100 Channel Executive by CRN, VAR Business's top 50 Channel Execs and CRN's top 100 Channel Execs. He has won the VAR Business Five Star award five times and is a recognized thought leader in FSM, Software as a Service (SaaS) and cloud computing. After Microsoft, Jim spent three years doing management consulting to various FSM startups, PE firms, VCs and management consulting firms in the FSM space.

Jim has recently joined one of the top FSM providers in the world, CSG. CSG is the leader in billing software for the cable/telco space and have been providing advanced FSM capabilities within this space. Jim’s role as GM of the FSM division is to expand their global presence as well as broaden their vertical footprint, including driving their innovative Service Contracts Management Application.
