Steven Dingler

Director, Customer Operations Georgia Power

Steven Dingler is an electric utility professional with over 20 years of experience working across Southern Company’s electric operating footprint, including both Georgia and Mississippi Power. Currently, as Director of Customer Operations at Georgia Power, he leads field operations and back office support for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) & Network Operations, Billing Services, Credit & Collections, and Customer Field Operations serving approximately 2.6 million customers in Georgia. Prior to his current role, Steven served much of his career as a Distribution Manager leading teams of engineers and construction personnel responsible for new construction, maintenance, and storm restoration. Steven has a BS in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Georgia. In his free time, Steven enjoys creating life experiences traveling with his wife and three children ages 8, 10, and 12.
