We accept all nominees with 25-plus years of service in the industry. The Field Service Advisory Board and key members of the Field Service team review and vote on the annual induction of nominees into the Hall of Fame.

Craig Bruns is the Vice President of Customer Support at Crown Equipment Corporation (Crown Lift Trucks), one of the largest forklift manufacturers in the world and the leader in the evolution of the material handling industry, earning more than 100 global design awards and launching new technologies to increase uptime and lower total cost of ownership.
With 30+ years of experience at Crown, he is responsible for leading the activities of Crown’s global customer support strategies, telematics support, current and future connected services, e-commerce and parts distribution, customer support, service experience, warranty, and thought leadership associated with delivering a world-class customer experience around the globe. For the last 5 years he has been spearheading the company’s technology-driven IOT strategic journey and global connected services business. He has undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration.

Len VanderHulst has more than 30 years of service management experience with Laboratory, Life Science equipment and Clinical Diagnostics device manufacturers such as; Mettler-Toledo, Eppendorf and Dade-Behring. He has led numerous global teams
through business transformation projects, to drive process improvements, increased efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction. His career in service began as a field service technician carrying a tool-bag making customer visits, then transitioning through various service management roles to become the Sr. VP of Global Service. He has transformed service organizations from cost-based service, to profitable, differentiated service groups, while delivering high customer satisfaction ratings.

Steve Cohan’s career spans nearly 30 years with Agilent Technologies. He currently serves as the Vice President of Agilent’s world-wide Customer Service Organization (CSO)..
In this role, Steve oversees a team of more than 5,000 service employees, ensuring top-tier technical support and service for Agilent’s global clientele. He has responsibility for remote and onsite customer service, supporting over 350,000 customers, including numerous multi-million dollar agreements for enterprise lab-wide operations. He created a high-performing culture centered around building loyalty with customers, shareholders, and employees. Under his leadership, Agilent achieved a #2 ranking by The Wall Street Journal for Customer Satisfaction in the Management Top 250. Before his current role, Steve was Vice President and General Manager of Agilent’s Consumables Supplies Division. Other positions include Vice President of Finance for both the Agilent CrossLab Group and Agilent’s former Chemical Analysis Group. Steve's holds an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.

Joe has been in the HVAC service industry for more than 34 years working for both OEM manufacturers and independent service and construction contractors. During his career he has held positions in field service, service technology, sales and service management.
In his current role, he leads a group of operating companies within Comfort Systems USA that have doubled their service revenue and profitability in less than five years, and is also leading Comfort Systems USA field service technology team with the goal of identifying and implementing new technologies into the HVAC service organization.

After a successful 30-year career at Johnson Controls in Atlanta and Milwaukee, David, and his twin brother Conrad, in 2023 launch Twin Bishop Strategies LLC, a business consultancy to help HVAC and building services organizations navigate rapid business changes.
Joining Johnson Controls in 1993, David held six leadership positions with increased responsibilities, including leading service operations and innovation for North America. Previously, he served as President – Service Division of Servidyne Inc., based in Los Angeles and Atlanta. As President, he co-wrote the business plan that was instrumental in selling the national HVAC/Chiller service business to Johnson Controls. David — an inspirational, purposeful leader who combines business and technical expertise to lead his teams to exceed their goals — retired from Johnson Controls in 2022.
David received his BSBA in finance from Auburn University and completed Executive Education courses in finance, mergers, acquisitions, analysis, planning & control at the University of Michigan, and Northwestern University.

Tim Spencer has a diverse background of manufacturing management, operations leadership, service and support, and general management. With unique solutions and innovation, Tim has led revenue and profit growth, new product development,
and customer satisfaction at The Standard Register Corporation, General Binding Corporation, ACCO Brands, WMS Gaming Inc, Scientific Games, Bunn-o-matic Corporation, and Interblock Gaming. He is the recipient of excellence awards from both Gartner Group and Aberdeen, and has been recognized by technology organizations for implementations in field service management solutions. Just prior to retirement and as a capstone to his career he was honored with both a Hall Of Fame award from WBReserch Field Service as well as 2024 Stand Out 50 Service Leader by Future Of Field Service. He is a graduate of the University of Utah with a degree in Business Finance and retired to Saratoga Springs, UT.
